Directions from the Northumberland Ferries to

      The Whim Inn.++++++
  • When you get off the ferry you will be heading West on Highway 1. 
  • About a half a kilometer later, take a right onto Highway 315.  (Approximately 25 minutes)
  • Follow this until you get to Highway 4.  Landmark--- PEI Liquor Store on right.  Take a left and proceed into the town of Montague.  (3 minutes)
  • At the bottom of the hill (stoplight) take a left and proceed through Montague.  The Whim Inn is approximately 3 kilometers outside Montague on your left.  (Approximately 5 minutes)
  • The Whim Inn is Located at Poole's Corner  (Highway Junction 3 & 4)

++++++ Alternate Directions

  (SCENIC ROUTE)

  • When you get off the ferry, take the first right onto Route 4.

  • Follow Route 4 for approximately 10 minutes until you need to take a left to continue on Route 4.  (Which is also known as Norman's Road)

  • Follow this for approximately 5 minutes until you get to the town of Murray River.

  • Drive through Murray River (Approximately 2 minutes) and continue on Route 4.

  • Travel approximately 10-15 minutes before coming to the bottom of a hill in the town of Montague. 

  • At the bottom of the hill (stoplight) take a left and proceed through Montague.  The Whim Inn is approximately 3 kilometers outside Montague on your left.  (Approximately 5 minutes)

  • The Whim Inn is Located at Poole's Corner (Highway Junction 3 & 4)
